Definition of perseverance

continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition : the action or condition or an instance of persevering : steadfastness

2 corinthians 1:21-22

21 It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, 22 and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.

Philippians 4:4-7

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! 5 Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.[c] 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Choose Joy! Thank God!

Joy is not a circumstantial outcome, it is a product already produced in you, by His Spirit!

It is always ripe and ready for the picking!

12 I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. 13 For I can do everything through Christ,[d] who gives me strength.

When you learn to be content in any situation… you are unshakeable!

One of the tools He uses to lead you to victory is His joy!

·      Savor every season

·      Sing in every season

·      Sit in every season

·      Seek in every season

You can have joy in every season of life!

In fact it is vital to your survival to have joy!

The enemy wants you to be miserable

You put the enemy under your feet just by choosing joy regardless of your situation

Faith and joy go hand in hand

When/if you truly believe something, you have joy because you know it will come to pass!

Romans 5:3-5

NLT

3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

AMP

3-5 There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

SEE EVERY PROBLEM AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR GOD TO SHOW YOU HIS POWER AND GOODNESS; TO SHOW HIMSELF STRONG IN YOUR LIFE

SEE IT AS A TESTIMONY YOU WILL SOON TELL

RICK RENNER “You need to see each demonic attack against you as an opportunity to rise up, take authority, and demonstrate who you are in Christ! Never forgetting that each problem is an opportunity to see a demonstration of God’s power in your life!”

WE MUST KNOW GOD & HIS PROMISES!!

We are created in the image of God and completely made new in Christ, confirmed to His image!

KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

If you don’t know whose you are… you will never know who you are!!

If you don’t know who you belong to… you won’t know what belongs to you!

THE ENEMY WILL COME AND TRY TO DECEIVE YOU AND ATTACK YOUR IDENTITY

HE WILL COME WITH TWISTED TRUTHS

WHEN YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND HIS PROMISES

YOU WONT BELIEVE THE LIES

YOULL STAND FIRM

BE FULLY ARMED IN THE ARMOR OF GOD

You can laugh at the enemy because you know the breakthrough or victory is right around the corner!!!

HEBREWS 10: 23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

35 So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! 36 Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

Hebrews 12:1-3

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up.

LET GO OF UNNECESSARY WEIGHT AND SIN

YOU HAVE AUTHORITY FOR WHAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

AND YOU DON’T FOR WHAT YOU AREN’T

And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.[a]Because of the joy[b] awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.3 Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people;[c] then you won’t become weary and give up. 4 After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?

KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS

JOHN BEVERE

“When you live for eternity rather than the present.. you make a much bigger impact in the present”

IF YOURE NOT HEAVENLY MINDED, YOULL BE NO EARTHLY GOOD

CHOOSE JOY

KNOW AND TRUST GOD

STAND FIRM IN CHRIST AND HIS PROMISES

LET GO OF UNNECESSARY WEIGHT

Galatians 6:9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
