Don’t ask God to speak… IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR WHAT HE HAS TO SAY.
HOW DO WE LEARN TO HEAR GOD’S VOICE?
1. BE STILL
PSALM 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God.”
Habakkuk 2:1 “I will stand at my watch… and look to see what he will say to me.”
GOD SPEAKS THROUGH HIS WORD.
GOD SPEAKS THROUGH PEOPLE.
GOD SPEAKS THROUGH CIRCUMSTANCES.
GOD SPEAKS THROUGH HIS SPIRIT.
THE MORE YOU LISTEN FOR GODS VOICE…THE MORE YOU RECOGNIZE HIS VOICE.
2. BE WILLING
PROVERBS 3:6 says: “Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.”
BEFORE ASKING GOD FOR NEW DIRECTION…MAKE SURE YOU’VE OBEYED THE LAST THING HE TOLD YOU.
