Righteousness

Eph 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,

THE PURPOSE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD.

Our walk with God is one of an ongoing fellowship and living in the presence of God. 

The difference between those who have a mediocre walk with God and those who walk full faced with God is in the word – “Acknowledgment”

Prov 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

RIGHTEOUSNESS MEANS THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN STOP ME FROM ACKNOWLEDGING HIM.

2 Cor 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might becomethe righteousness of God in Him. 

SIN CONSCIOUSNESS IS ALWAYS THE ENEMY POINTING BACK TO WHO YOU ARE IN THE FLESH TO ROB YOU OF WALKING WITH GOD.

THE ENEMY USES SIN CONSCIOUSNESS TO KEEP YOU FROM GOING FURTHER IN YOUR FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD. 

Righteousness has to be majored on in the life of the believer. 

THE BIBLE CALLS RIGHTEOUSNESS YOUR BREASTPLATE. (E 6:14) 

We have to develop a righteousness consciousness (mentality). 

When the accuser comes we answer him based on who we are in Christ. 

Our righteousness is based on who we are in him. 

EVERY POOR SELF-IMAGE IS ANSWERED – IN CHRIST

We are absolute failures outside of Christ. 

This righteousness is all received by faith. (Rom 5:17 Gift)

THIS JUST MEANS WE DON’T GO TO GOD BASED ON OUR FAILURE.

WE GO TO HIM BASED ON OUR SUCCESS IN HIM. 

Eph 4:24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

WE WALK IN OUR AUTHORITY BASED ON WHAT COMES FROM HIM. 

RIGHTEOUSNESS IS NOT A FEELING. IT’S A POSITION. 

Isaiah 54:13 All your children shall be taught by the LORD, And great shall be the peace of your children.

Lack of teaching will keep you in a place of vulnerability to the enemy.

14 “In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you.

You can have something and not be established in it. 

This life we live is about establishing righteousness as your flow. It governs our thinking, our actions... 

You can’t afford to walk with God based on how you feel today. 

when we don’t feel righteous, we don’t back down from the place of fellowship... because righteousness is not a feeling. It’s a position.

no one can establish you but you and the help of the Holy Spirit. 

To establish yourself in righteousness the conversation must change.
