The Work of God & The Laborer
- Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness: without which no man shall see God
-1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
*Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has ANOINTED me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind. To set at liberty those who are oppressed and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
*1 john 3:8- For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
*Acts 1:8- but you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (WITNESSES are only powerful and can sway the opinion of a court with first hand knowledge. Their TESTIMONY. Carries power)
*LUKE 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
Work requires Power!
_ Britannica: definition of “work”- No work, as understood in this context, is done unless the object is displaced in some way and there is a component of the force along the path over which the object is moved. Work, in physics, measure of energy transfer that occurs when an object is moved over a distance by an external force at least part of which is applied I the direction of the displacement.
To express this concept mathematically, the work W is equal to the force f times the distance d, or W= fd.
Luke 9:35-38 35 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
Prayers for the Laborer:
“Send a laborer into their life- to do WORK. Works of power. Send someone with power to do a work or a job or a task, which requires greater overcoming spiritual force than the opposing force that previously had influence.
Send a vessel of light, someone with your dunamis power who is capable of shifting the tide and carrying power of heaven into the life of the one in need. A disciple who has fasted and prayed. A lover who has sacrificed and been sanctified and has paid the price to carry the great anointing and required heavenly ingredients needed to satisfy the hungers and thirsts and starvations of a dying world!
To carry the bread of heaven! To deliver the Words of life!
To shine the light of heaven in the caverns of hell and In the hearts of men that you love and sacrificed everything for, the crown of your creation.
The jewels of your heart. Your treasures and great fierce adoration.
O Lord, send your servants who have power and are capable of skillfully delivering the message of jubilee, conveying the hope of your glory!
Awakening hearts and pointing the hearts of sons to their fathers! The power of reconciliation! Equipped in a ministry of reconciliation! Anointed for restoration and all things new. Give your workers of God a fresh anointing. A fresh power. Not earned! Not achieved by our human efforts-
but grace us with your ability as we fellowship with you and make room for your perfect plans.
Plans to prosper and not harm. Plans for abundance. Plans for revelation and restoration, building and uplifting, up-rooting and tearing down, healing and mending, comforting and nourishing.
Give us a power for each need. Give a grace for each bondage. A tool for each task.
An anointing for each yoke. A solution for every problem. A way for each dilemma. An answer for every mystery. Bring breakthrough, Breaker! Anoint your servants with fresh oil for the work of your ministry, funneling fresh oil, new, explosive, dunamis power from your Kingdom.
That we would be equipped to adequately disperse resources of heaven into the earth as your Spirit desires. Teach us, show us, equip us, mold us, guide us, train us, re-train he, refine our skills, coach our efforts, enhance our deliveries, perfect our practice. Enable us to be skillful as we operate in your Word.
Cause us to be effective in our labor. Bring us into Greater things. Not for party tricks.
Not for attention seeking and ministry career credentials, not to be noticed by men, not to climb the ranks of religious piety and to be recognized and spiritually superior- but to be marked as heavenly ambassadors.
To be labeled as people of power and love. To truly invest in your creation and find joy and satisfaction in your original purposes and wonderful plans. Let your will be done. Let your kingdom come.
Rein and rule in our lives. Make us skillful laborers and deploy us in the lives of broken people. Do your work in us!!!! Anoint us! Anoint for deliverance. For casting out squatters- unauthorized demons inhabiting properties that you own and have renovation plans for.
Anoint us! Anoint for resurrection. For bringing back to life people who are dying and even dead- to show your glory and to give second chances to people in peril of hell.
To call back to life those who passed Into darkness.
