The Spirit of Mammon
An average American household falls in the top 10% of global wealth holders, and making just $34,000 a year places an individual in the wealthiest 1% of the world’s population. Compared to the rest of the planet, where the global median net worth per adult is around $8,600, typical American living standards represent extreme global affluence.
Eph 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For the LORD has both devised and done What He spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon. 13 O you who dwell by many waters, Abundant in treasures, Your end has come, The measure of your covetousness.

You cannot subdue what you do not understand.
How do we subdue the spirit of mammon?
1. You must establish the Lordship of Jesus Christ over all of your finances.
2. You must practice radical, joyful, generosity.
3. You must pray with spiritual authority over the financial dimensions of your life.
