GIVE UP - part with something that one would prefer to keep.

GOD SHOWS US WHAT HE WANTS TO DO,  SO WE CAN KNOW WHAT WE NEED TO DO, SO WE CAN EXPERIENCE WHAT HE WANTS TO DO

ROMANS 7:24 what a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?

2 KINGS 5:1

1-3 Naaman was general of the army under the king of Aram. He was important to his master, who held him in the highest esteem because it was by him that God had given victory to Aram: a truly great man, but afflicted with a grievous skin disease.

 2 KINGS 5:3

One day she said to her mistress, “ Oh, if only my master could meet the prophet of Samaria, he would be healed of his skin disease.” 

SOMETIMES YOU CAN’T GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL BASED ON WHO YOU’RE LISTENING TO

2 KINGS 5:8

Elisha the man of God heard what had happened, that the king of Israel was so distressed that he’d ripped his robe to shreds. He sent word to the king, “Why are you so upset, ripping your robe like this? Send him to me so hell learn that there’s a prophet of Israel 

VS 10

Elisha sent out a servant to meet him with this message. “ Go to the River Jordan and immerse yourself seven time. Your skin will be healed and you’ll be as good as new 

Vs.11

Naaman lost his temper. He turned on his heel saying, “ I thought he’d personally come out and meet me, call on the name of God, wave his hand over the diseased spot, and get ride of the disease. 

SOME MIRACLES ARE UNNECESSARY, IF YOU JUST GIVE CONTROL TO GOD

VS 13-14

“Father, if the prophet had asked you to do something hard and heroic, wouldn’t you have done it? So why not this simple was and be clean? 

WHEN YOU GIVE GOD CONTROL, YOU HAVE TO RECOGNIZE 3 THINGS THAT ARE GOING TO COME YOUR WAY

1.     DISTRACTIONS

-       WHENEVER YOU MAKE A DECISION TO GIVE GOD CONTROL, THE ENEMY IS GOING TO SEND DISTRACTIONS YOUR WAY

2.     DETOURS

SOME PEOPLE WILL NEVER REACH THEIR DESTINATION BECAUSE THEY CAN’T DEAL WITH DETOURS 

3.     DELAYS

YOU HAVE TO KEEP DOING IT, KEEP ON EXECUTING EVEN WHEN DIPPING DOESN’T SEEM TO BE WORKING 

WHEN YOU OBEY COMPLETELY… THE THING THAT WAS BROKEN BECOMES WHOLE
