Standing Strong

2 Timothy 4:7  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;  8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

The Goal for Finishing our Race is Two Fold: 

#1 To Finish Our Course

#2 To Finish with "Faith in our Heart"

Luke 18:8b: “However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Matthew 4:1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He [a]then became hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”

Faith - Rejoices, Gives Thanks and Is Glad

Doubt - Despairs, Complains and is Sad 

Deuteronomy 28:47 ““Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and a glad heart, for the abundance of all things; 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies ….
