Eph. 6:1 CHILDREN, OBEY your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right. 

Eph. 6:2 Honor (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother—this is the first commandment with a promise—†

Eph. 6:3 That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.

 

Prov. 14:1 EVERY WISE woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands.

 

Lam. 3:22 It is because of the Lord’s mercy andloving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not.†

Lam. 3:23 They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability andfaithfulness.†

 

Is. 54:13 And all your [spiritual] children shall be disciples [taught by the Lord and obedient to His will], and great shall be the peace andundisturbed composure of your children.†
